Amazing geometry 3D here. And no graphic glitches from fancy shaders, lightning etc. highly recommended. Performance with 1 not perfect on GTX 970, but playable.
    FOV Settings:
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\Monolith Productions\FEAR\settings.cfg
    Add Line
    “FovYWidescreen” “XX.00”

F.E.A.R. 2, the performance is bad, under 30fps and no difference with Normal Z. And some graphic problems with g3d. The first game runs much better.

How did you get fear 1 to work?? I can only get to the first screen, then the game freezes, but i can hear the sound of being in the menus.

Steam version v1.08 retail here, no problems. Maybe try the peak key or VorpX ingame menu. In some games screen goes black when the VorpX view is too close. Also shift + mousewheel to zoom out.

The game resoultion maxes out at 1280×960 for me. Is there a way to raise it?

If I change the settings.cfg to anything higher than 1240×1080, it just defaults to 640x. I followed most of the pcgamingwiki instructions for F.E.A.R. (link below), but maybe I’m missing something.

Is the framerate still poor for FEAR 2?
