Firewatch does not start

Hi everyone!

Today I tried to run Firewatch with vorpX.
The game starts (I hear the sound) but my vive keeps displaying the “holo deck”. I tried windowed mode and full mode.

Any hints?

Sometimes when games don’t start for me I do this simple trick:
1) Re-start computer
2) Start game and exit at first chance
3) Start VorpX then the game again

If I do it like that I avoid the dreaded ‘Game.exe’ not found message.

What do you start first? vorpX or SteamVR?

Unfortunately it doesn’t work.

Can anyone run it with the Vive?

I tried to tun vorpX with admin rights. Didn’t solve the problem.

The game itself starts (i hear the sounds) and the monitor turns black (thats normal) but the game isn’t displayed at the vive.

I found the solution.

Just activate “run vorpX control as administrator”. This worked for me.
