    Wanted to post this here so that anybody having this problem now or otherwise can fix it up quick.
    I was suddenly getting massive stuttering and spikes that I couldn’t fix. I tried everything from re-installation to cleaning out all cookies, registry etc etc. Nothing worked.

    Then I took my computer apart. One of the power cables was running up against a fan. I adjusted it with some duct tape and put it back together not expecting anything. The VR problem completely went away.

    Check your box once in awhile, it might improve performance.
