Fresh Start

    I’m having problems with the auto update not working, every time I try to start it tries to update and fails.

    Even rerunning websetup does not help.

    I’d like to have a fresh start. I tried uninstalling from add/remove programs, but I selected the option to keep the registry entries. This didn’t help me, it seems like none of the files got removed, and what’s more trying to uninstall again now fails with “The system cannot find the specified file”.

    How can I clean everything out to get a fresh start? I do still have my licence key email.


    Reinstalling should suffice normally. If you happen to use any other antivirus than Windows Defender, exclude the vorpX program folder or – better – get rid of it altogether. There isn’t really any need for invasive third party AV since Defender got good enough almost a decade ago.


    The problem was comodo anti-virus. I got rid of it. Was just the free version anyway.
