    And I think its killing performance. Isnt there some way to load the game up so it will only play on the HMD?

    nop, since latest vorpx update, you have the game displayed on vr headset + monitor and no it doesnt kill performance.

    @ wolf8312: To be extra sure that there is no performance impact, you can force-disable VSync in your graphics driver control panel. vorpX ususally disables it automatically or shows a warning if it can’t, but disabling it in your graphics driver can’t hurt.
