Gamepad doesn’t work with game in Cinema/Immersive mode

Trying to play NBA2k21 with an xbox controller. Gamepad works fine without vorpx, but with vorpx hooked, the gamepad no longer works, no matter what the settings are in the vorpx menu (disabling oculus touch controller, and vorpx menu bindings. Makes the game unplayable in any mode.

I don’t understand why we can’t just have controller passthrough when we aren’t interested in mouse head tracking?

That is what happens when you set the ‘X-Box Controller Override’ option to ‘Off’ on the ‘Input’ page of the vorpX menu. With that option off the gamepad works natively.

Note that depending on the game you may have to restart it afterwards. Most games check regularlay whether a gamepad gets connected, but some my only do that on start.

Thanks, that was my confusion, wasn’t seeing any effect but a restart fixed the issue.
