Half-Life 2: Can’t Switch Weapons.

In the vanilla game, the mouse wheel scrolls through your inventory of weapons, and left mouse click selects it.

In VorpX (using a Vive), the left grip and menu buttons scroll through your weapon inventory. But for some reason, the left trigger (left mouse click), nor any button on the Vive controller, selects a weapon.

Has anyone figured out how to switch weapons in this game? If so, I beg you to share.

Okay, I’ve figured it out, for anyone else confused as to how to choose different weapons using a Vive controller.

To scroll through your weapon inventory squeeze the left hand grip buttons and press down on the left trackpad. When you’re on the weapon you want to switch to, release the grip buttons and pull the right controller trigger. Make sure you release the grip buttons BEFORE you pull the trigger or it won’t work. If you wait too long the weapon overlay will disappear and you have to do it again. But once you know, it works great.
