HDMI Out of Range

Hi,

I read through the forum and didn’t see this question. When I launch vorpX followed by an application (Morrowind, Mirror’s Edge, etc.), I get an error message that says something to the effect of Windows 7 changing to basic colors. Then, the game actually shows up in “dual goggle” mode on screen, but I get the red-screen HDMI Out of Range error in the OR. My laptop is about 2.5 years old with an ATI Mobility Radeon 5870 (for what it’s worth from a solutioning perspective), which has worked well for the demo population.

I got that when a resolution is too low (IE less than 1200 x 800)

I’e had this issue several times.. normally to fix it i just start the game with the rift turned on but don’t have the HDMI cable plugged in. Plug it in once the game is loaded…
