The game is running smooth, and then severe stuttering with the game displaying black at every second fps and the responsiveness of the game hits a giant crawl. It seems to be a problem with a number of different titles. Is there any advice on how to remedy this problem? Changing game settings makes no difference.
Please provide more detailed information about the game(s) you encountered this issue with and the way you started these games.
Right now I can just guess: performance may not be like it should when playing games with the vorpX desktop viewer for example, which is not meant for playing games. If you do that for some reason, start games without the desktop viewer running and let vorpX hook directly into the games.
For example, Ark Survival Evolved. I can play for a while, but then the display starts flicking on and off really really rapid, and the performance of the game itself takes a huge dive.
Ah yeah, I am letting it hook as well. Hmm
I make sure to enable reprojection in SteamVR.
I’ll see what else I can do to fix it.
