I ordered my vive last night and was aware of vorpx before hand so I figured I’d purchase vorpx at the same time. I received a reminder email to activate vorpx this morning. should I install the software now? or after the head set arrives? I expect that it would be after the initial setup of the HMD but is activation time sensitive or will it cause problems? The HMD should be here in a day or two. monday by the latest.
The reminders are just sent out rountinely, you can ignore it. They are mostly meant for people who overlook the activation instructions.
You can activate anytime you want, either now or when your headset arrives.
