Sorry I haven’t used VorpX yet even though I bought it recently. Are you saying the game does work in VR or it doesn’t?

Sorry for my bad English. The game works in vr, but 3d effect does not work. Head tracking works, fov autoconfigure works. You can play, but not very comfortable, without 3d

There may be a compatible profile, but you may have to try a lot of them ;)

Did you try to use the first game profile ? In Z3D only, because I think Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is in DX12. If you could run the game in DX11, it would probably be easier.

There is no way to turn on 3d in this game. The game does not start via directx 11. Other profiles are not working, most likely because of directvr. Kingdom come 2 has exactly the same exe file as kingdom come 1. Vorpx believes that this is part 1 :D Can you please tell me how to enable 3d, or how to launch the game with a different profile?

Kingdom come 2 has exactly the same exe file as kingdom come 1.

    That is usually bad…

You could try to rename the executable.
If you have a Steam version, I already used this with VorpX and it worked :

yes, I have already tried renaming the executable file, the game is starting. But which profile should I use? I tried metro dx12 and f1 dx12, both don’t work. The profiles from the first part game don’t work either. In theory, we need some kind of profile with dx12? And cryengine.

I don’t know if there is another game with CryEngine DX12.

There probably will be a profile someday.

You can try other DX12 games : Cyberpunk 2077, Frontier Of Pandora / Resident Evil Village, Atomic Heart, etc. but it’s not CryEngine.

I was able to set it up! Z3D works! I renamed the exe file of the game, and used the profile of Far cry 6 (author auryza). In the vorpx settings, you need to enable letterbox 2. Now the game works in fullVR. Thank you all for your help. I’ll try to find a way to share the finished profile later.

I have made custom profile for Kingdom come deliverance II, go and check the vorpX cloud.
Profile was made from Starfield profile.

How would one use your custom profile? For someone who just bought VorpX today, and hasn’t got much experience with it. I can only see your starfield profile within the Cloud Profiles and no Profile for Kindom Come Deliverance. Do I just change the starfield exe to the Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 exe?

How would one use your custom profile?

    – Install VorpX V24.1
    – launch VorpX Config
    – Login in “Cloud Profile” tab
    – Search “Kingd”
And you’ll see the profile just after the official one for Kingdom Come Deliverance 1.
    – Select it.
    – Read profile instructions (about FOV edit, etc.)
    – Click “Import Profile”.

Rename KCD2 executable to KingdomCome2.exe (or whatever you want, but it’s the default assigned name when you import).

Launch VorpX, then launch the game.

Of course, you may prefer to launch VorpX Desktop Viewer instead of VorpX (it will allow you to use any desired resolution).

Usually, you should use a very high 4:3 resolution on most VR headsets, like 3840×2880 or 2880×2160 (or more if you can). Don’t forget to adjust the FOV. In the first game, it was possible to change it permanently with .cfg files (112 is usually a good value).

You can adjust zoom level in VorpX ingame menu page 1.

You can use ClarityFX and sharpness to get a clearer/sharper image in VorpX ingame menu page 2 (and adjust gamma, etc.)

You can also adjust headtracking speed.

Even if you use Immersive Screen instead of full VR (clearer at lower resolution and useful when the camera is partially locked), it’s still useful to raise FOV, resolution, and curvature (with vertical option).

Thank you. My issue was that I was on an earlier version (I assumed I would have been sent the latest install version since purchasing it today…) I found the new install version and have found the correct profile.

Thank you very much. Does the 3D effect work for you, though? I am asking because while the game is hooking and loading just fine I have no 3D (Z3D) effect whatsoever. When I switch between no 3D and Z3D there is no difference at all. How did you guys get it working? Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Maybe worth noting: I did not rename the game’s exe, though, because Steam would generate an error after I tried it. So I had to leave the default name.
