This game is working like a charm, it´s like a vr native one.
My problem is I use a Pimax 8k+ and with the fov options at maximum, it can´t “cover” all the screen.
Is there a trick or something to increase the fov beyond vorpx settings?

    Thanks in advance

    hi,

have look into the config files and search for FOV and change it to a higher value:

    Edit these two files

    %LOCALAPPDATA%\4A Games\Metro 2033\user.cfg

    <Steam-folder>\userdata\<user-id>\43110\remote\user.cfg

Change sick_fov 45 to a number between 1 and 90 (inclusive) (the game runs best at 60-70 FOV).

Remember, this is vertical rather than horizontal FOV.

Change user.cfg to read-only to prevent the game overwriting changes.

I was wrong, I said fov but I meant image zoom. Any trick for this?

only Ralf can help you, you can ask him for a for a key for a user profile. In this more custom able profiles you have much more options in the vorpx in-game menu and shader authoring.

Have you tried the profile of Metro Exodus ?

    hi,

rename the main .exe file of the game and associate it with an user profile that you can edit for your needs

To find a profile that works and edit it, is a lot of work but it’s worth it
