MWO and the vive: works until I hook into the server.

I have been playing MWO with my Oculus Rift and Vorpx for about a year now. The in game voice chat won’t work, but teamspeak does; so, I have been happy. Recently, my Oculus broke. I decided to get a Vive to replace it.

MWO works with the Vive just fine, until I go to join a match. While the match is loading, the Vive screen will freeze, but the screen on my monitor still works. head tracking also works.

The game is now unplayable this way. Does anyone have an idea as to why this may be happening? Are my graphics too high for the vive but not too high for the oculus?

make sure to set in the Vorpx programm (not in MWO)
under GENERAL (left tab of the window) the DEVICE SELECTION
to “SteamVR (VIVE, WMR,…)” hence the name :))
