Need for Speed Most Wanted 2005

I searched and found the post:
“@ LukeRoss: Need for Speed: Most Wanted [2005] and Assassin’s Creed 2 have been fixed in vorpX 18.1.0 last month.”

I installed vorpX.

I tried the local NFSMW profile. It didn’t work

I saw an error “NFS13.exe” not supported or recognized. I noticed the app was listed as “speed.exe”
I copied it to a new profile and pointed it to NSF13.exe
It didn’t work.

I went to cloud profiles and found “Need for Speed: Most Wanted [2005] [vorpX]” selected Apply and launched the game.
That didn’t work
I tried using the “Import Profile” button. It *said* it worked but nothing changed and I could not find a new listing in my Local list.
It still didn’t work.

The best result I have, so far, is an error stating NSF13.exe is not supported and the app will be displayed in 2D immersive mode.

This is one of the top reasons I purchased vorpX.

Please tell me what I need to do to get it to work.

The supported Need for Speed – Most Wanted is the first one from 2005. nfs13.exe is the remake from 2012, which currently isn’t supported.

There are 2 User-profiles in the cloud for NFS: Hot Pursuit. The game is developed by the same company, you may try one of these. I can not confirm if they provide G3D or not, but could be worth a try. (Try the one marked with [2010] first.)

Won’t work in this quite unique case. The game uses DX11 with feature level 10 instead of the usual 11, which isn’t fully supported by vorpX since only a handful of games do that.
