Thanks to Smoils on discord, use the left joystick down on an xbox controller then the Vorpx menu comes up yeh!
Additionally this often happens due to 2 things – antivirus preventing 3rd party software sending input to applications or same will happen on windows due to security reasons if you run game as admin.
First is fixed by excluding vorpx from all possible AV categories, second – by selecting “run as admin” in vorpx options.
