    Hello there,

i just bought this and try to play but no game will start my vive…

Desktop Viewer starts the vive, so it should work?

I start Vorpx and then start any game i have… the game starts but Vive stays black and the boxes dont lid up.

Games testet so far: Skyrim SE, GTA5 and space engeneers.

(skyrim SE i use the user made profile on this forum.)

    What should i do now?

(im german so my english is bad :P)

    Thanks

Edit: Tried with disabled Steam Overlay no Antivir, with steam VR on and of, in Extended and direct… what the hell i am doing wrong?

    Amd 8950 octa
    Fury X 4gb hbm
8gb Ram (should be 16 but have to buy new)
    Windows 10

So why is desktop working and Games dont? Is there a way do look what hacks in a dll.? Or any way to look why it wont work?

p.s. SteamVR is working games to so the Headset seems fine.

The desktop viewer working but not the any games sounds a lot like an injection conflict with some other program on your PC. Many programs also hook into games and can cause such an issue. Not all of them are obvious.

Hottest candidates are: virus scanners, any sort of CPU/GPU utilities, game video recording/streaming software, chat programs and generally everything that can show notifictations in games.

Best way to trouble shoot this is to disable/uninstall every program running in the background that would not be there after a fresh, Microsoft only Windows install.

If you can’t solve the issue this way, please try to start a few games, then create a trouble shoot data archive in the vorpX config app and send me this archive. I will then check whether I can find something that you may have overlooked.
