Oculus Bricked after using Vorpx!

hi I used Vorpx for the 1st time yesturday and now my oculus is bricked wont work in direct mode just comes up with coulored sqaures its useless iv tried everything full system reinstall of everything and nope seems like vorpx has bricked my rift? :( any ideas? pls help?

vorpX does not work in direct mode yet. You need to set your Rift to extended mode like described in the DK2 Setup Guide in the vorpX help. Short version below:

You have two options to use vorpX:

A. The convenient one (works with most games)

1. Set the Rift DK2 to “Extend Desktop to HMD”
2. Use the Rift DK2 as SECONDARY monitor in Windows
3. Set the Rift DK2 to “Portrait” mode in Windows
(might be “Landscape flipped” in Windows 8)
4. Set vorpX to “Show on DK2″ display wise in the vorpX config app.

B. The compatible one

1. Set the Rift DK2 to “Extend Desktop to HMD”
2. Use the Rift DK2 as PRIMARY monitor in Windows
3. Set the Rift DK2 to “Portrait” mode in Windows
(might be “Landscape flipped” in Windows 8)
4. Set vorpX to “Use system settings” display wise in the vorpX config app.

sorted something had gone wrong with drivers oculus is bk running now had to swap 0.6.1 runtime to 0.6.1 beta and the new 15.7 amd driver and its back up and running
