ParticipantHi,
we have the following process/toolchain and would like to have one question answered:
start Open Broadcaster Software (mirrors one screen to second screen, in our case Oculus VR DK2 image to normal monitor) -> start vorpX in the mirrored broadcast -> start the game (rFactor 2) in the mirrored broadcast.
We now have one stereoscopic image for the VR headset and another stereoscopic image on the normal LCD monitor but want to have a non-stereoscopic image on the second screen, which is not splitted and warped (just raw game image). Is there any way to achieve this?
Best regards,

KeymasterNot 100% sure whether that meets your needs, but you can enable mirroring on the display page of the vorpX ingame menu.
There always is the option to display the undistorted view, and if you run a game windowed you get a another option that allows to display a mirror window with the distorted view.

ParticipantThe audience monitor should display the game like you play it without the VR headset (not splitted, but one single image). We currently have one graphics card (Nvidia GTX660), the audience monitor is connectet via the DVI port on the card and the Oculus via the HDMI port. We tried using the vorpX ingame menu but couldn’t manage to set the options to fit our needs.

KeymasterThat can be done with the “Direct Mode Show Original” option on the display page of the ingame menu. This displays the undistorted view.
If you run a game windowed, you *might* be able to drag the game window to another monitor. If you run games fullscreen, they will display on the monitor that the game normally runs on. To get it to another one you would have to capture the image from there.
Please be aware that a GTX660 probably will have a hard time powering any more recent games and vorpX. Minimum recommended in this regard is a GTX970, which is also what Oculus recommends for the Rift.
Just in case you want to use multiple graphics cards in your setup: please also note that the headset has to be connected to the same graphics card that the game runs on for vorpX to work at all.

ParticipantThank you! Direct Mode Show Original did the job for us after updating vorpX to the latest version.

ParticipantOne more important feature would be to mirror the ingame mouse in Direct Mode Show Original as we currently can only guess where the cursor is positioned.
Best Regards, Chris
