    Just wondering if i can use vorpX to play non steam games with my vive..

    VorpX tries to hook into every DX9-DX11 game (and older OpenGL games), regardless of the way they are started.

    So do i have to have steam VR up and running then launch a game with vorpX? Sorry im just learning about this software and just want to know this before i purchase it ..

    Exactly, that’s how it works. You can launch games from Steam, Uplay, Origin, any other publisher launcher or just the desktop for games that aren’t started through a frontend.
