ParticipantRise of the Tomb Raiders latest patch has introduced severe stereo conflicts on all the shadows in its native 3D support, which means its broken in Vorpx aswell. Since so fev gamers seems to care about 3D I see a real risk that the developers might not fix this issue.
That is why I call on you all who likes to play this game in 3D to leave feedback on this issue on the steam forums. Here is my Steam thread; https://steamcommunity.com/app/391220/discussions/0/3198115339545087646/ and here is a screenshot of what the stereo conflicts look like; https://imgur.com/a/xi0h16q
There is a change that this issue is isolated to only my particular hardware/software setup but there is also a risk it is affecting everyone and only those who likes to play in 3D will notice. This update seems like a major universal update so it might have affected the other Tomb Raider games aswell but I only own ROTTR so I can“t check this.

ParticipantI’m playing ROTTR now in march 2023 in perfect 3D but I wouldnt call it VR. I had Vorpx for quite some time before I was ever able to finally get a game to work to my satisfaction. That was one of the Metro games (played completely in VR). Because I played the Metro VR game I thought I would try one of the others. I tried another one with no luck but at least I finally got my monies worth. Rise also works well but each time you start the game you need to p*ss f*rt around getting it right again. You would think it would be the same each time. with the screen fully zoomed in (screen distance) you still see it in a window. I can see the grey areas outside the window. Real VR breaker. Can anyone suggest a way to enlarge the screen to get rid of the borders?

ParticipantYou’re not going to get a true VR experience from the stereo settings for this game. I’ve played through it a couple of times and there are some stereo glitches in the game itself, but there will always be borders unless you position the camera very close to the screen, which means you’re gonna get your butt kicked by the guys coming at you from the side because you didn’t see them coming. Vorpx does a good job at simulating VR for some games, but in this case it’s mostly just a passthrough of the built-in stereo rendering.
