Read Dead Redemption – Can’t hook

Hi all,
there is an official profile for RDR2, so I assume this game must work.
I bought it on steam and when I start it, the vorpx popup comes telling that it is attaching to rdr2.exe. But nothing happens in my headset. When I exit the game there is a vorpx popup telling that hooking the game failed. On the very first start I got another vorpx popup that asks for an API version. I have choosen DX9-12 as the game is set to DX12.
What am I doing wrong here? So far I never had issues with vorpx. But this is my first DX12 game.

Hooking issues means conflict with some other tool that also hooks into games in 99% of cases.

Already read this, but I have no extra tools running. Virus Scanner is Defender and I have no issues with VorpX and other games.
But you say it has to work? In other threads here on the forum I read that RDR2 was changed by Rockstar in a way that it won’t run with VorpX anylonger. Is this no longer true and it should work?
I am Running Win10 and the newest VorpX 24.1.0.0

I can’t really comment on the game specifically because a while ago some clown deemed it appropriate to drag vorpx into his own legal fuckup with its publisher, sorry. From what I heard it still seems to work for others though.

Are people able to run this anymore, I can´t get it to hook? Tried with hook helper and shouldn´t have interfering programs running at the same time since other games hook properly.

Well at least GTA5 works mostly.
