I’m back to VorpX after a few month break from the PC.
I used to run a desktop resolution of 5760 x 1080 as my monitors were three 40″ 1080P screens.
I upgraded them to three 43″ 4K screens for a desktop res of 11520 x 2160.
If I single screen res (3840 X 2160) and launch VorpX Desktop it works fine. If I’m in my normal 11520 x 2160 vorpx just hangs
Is there a limit to the resolution I can use in Vorpx desktop?
One thing you could try is disabling Crystal Image on the image page of the vorpX ingame menu. That will reduce the size of vorpX’s internal render textures which might exceed DirectX’s max texture size in your case.
No guarantee that this will help, but it’s worth a shot.
If that does not help, there probably is nothing that can be done since the desktop viewer doesn’t really support multi-screen setups.
