So I’m trying to play a game, as soon as I launch it, vorpx tells me to set resolution to 2000+, problem is the game sees my primary monitor and tells me my max resolution is 1600. I tried swapping displays in game, but it shows max resolution of 1600 either way. running a gtx970

    Thanks for the help

You can run most games windowed. That usually allows you to set resolutions that aren’t directly supported by your monitor.

The suggestions made by vorpX are a bit flaky currently, sorry. It suggests your headset’s display resolution, which was correct for earlier vorpX versions, but isn’t anymore. Will be fixed shortly.

The best resolutions for the current vorpX version are 4:3/5:4 resolutions. Either 1280×1024, 1600×1200 or 1920×1440 depending on how fast games are running on your PC. For very resource hungry games 1024×768 is also worth a try if you want to trade image clarity for performance.
