Rise of the Tomb Raider in full 3D vr using vorpX

Excellent tutorial…

One problem though. I followed it to a ‘T’… however, when I try to set the game to ‘side by side’ in the options of the game, the game will crash to desktop while trying to load.

Any suggestions?

Please make sure that the “Do not optimize game settings” option in the config app is not checked.

Unless you checked this box, vorpX should configure everything automatically.

After i played Shadow of the Tomb Raider in Immersive Cinema Mode (best ever VR experience i had) i wanted to try this Tomb Raider. Problem is i can’t choose the option “Stereoscopic 3D” in the game options menu (it’s grayed out). Does anybody have an idea why?

Don’t quote me on that, but IIRC the game has to be run fullscreen, otherwise the S3D option will be grayed out.
