so what was up with the site outage on the 22nd of may?

Last night i tried to fire up vorpx to play and noticed that when i clicked configure from the tray icon that nothing would come up.

I went to the website to see if maybe my installation was messed up and the site was down.

When the site went up, i tried to open it again and it worked after doing an auto update.
I think these two things are related.

2 questions

1. Why was the site down , was there any warning of site maintenance?
2. Its a bit concerning that if the site goes down, then i cant configure my vorpx is this true?

I used Vorpx normally during the site downtime, although obviously the cloud-based profiles were unavailable. You do not have to be connected to the internet to use Vorpx or configure it.

1. Our webhoster had technical problems that resulted in most websites hosted by them being difficult to reach for a few hours yesterday. Sorry for any inconvenience that may have caused.

2. You can use vorpX and the config app without being online.
