Hey guys!
Been following the guide to get SC 2.6.X to work with Vorpx.
It seems I cannot get it to really stick, so I figured if I added the StarCitizen.exe file to the profile it could potentially work.
The only problem is I get the following error.
The weird thing is that even if I delete the profile and try to make my own, it gives me the same error. But other than the cloud profile, there is no other profile that includes the Star Citizen.exe file.
Again, I’ve done this with and without the cloud profile, even on a fresh install with no cloud profiles imported.
Any help would be appreciated!
Star Citizen does not work unfortunately, it crashes on start since their huge engine upgrade last year. Hence there is a hidden profile for the purpose of disallowing user profiles altogether.
You can play the game using the vorpX desktop viewer. Just be aware that that’s a workaround and won’t provide a lot of vorpX’s normal functionality. Most importantly playing games with the desktop viewer doesn’t provide any stereo 3D.
