"Start Vorpx" no longer possible

So here’s what happened:
I played around with some games that are available with vorpx and they all work quite well, but when I wanted to call it a day it said “file was changed”, and when I pressed “OK” the shortcut for “start VorpX” disappeared. At first, I thought that was not a problem, it would only be for first-time setup. However, it seems like I cannot do anything anymore regarding vorpx without starting it, and I’m afraid that the shortcut for starting vorpx is now gone. What can I do?

Almost certainly an overzealous virus scanner that deleted the file. Please exclude the vorpX program folder from your AV scanner.

If you are on Windows 10, give Windows Defender a try. It come free with Windows 10 and provides good protection without being as invasive as some other scanners.
