    Hi guys,

I bought this about 2 weeks ago now and ive tryed about 4 games so far. The best is Titanfall 2, im currently trying to get F1 2020 to work but its so bad, so blurred, the text is unreadable unless u use the middle mouse button to zoom for edges. Im not sure what im doing wrong but this all seems a bit useless to me. Im not all that tech savvy…………. basically I was wondering if someone would advise me on how to get it looking half decent and not so close to my eyes that im suffering a mygraine within a few mins. I have to be doing something wrong

    Please anyone?

    Thankyou

You can run games at higher resolutions for better image quality. If e.g. currently you run the game at 1920×1080, you might want to try to set 2560×1440 in the game’s video/graphics options, which should come close to the pixel density of your headset.

The higher the game resolution, the crisper the image. You have to find a balance between resolution and performance though. Higher resolution also means more work for your PC, so you may have to dial down details when you increase the resolution.

If your monitor does not support 2560×1440, please check the ‘Custom Resolutions’ section in the vorpX help. It explains step-by-step how to add unsupported resolutions to your PC.

Hey Ralf, thanks for the pointers. when I first got it I made a few custom resolutions up, do they auto appear within the game or do you choose them via the nvidia control panel? Im using a index, my pc is a 9900k, 32gb and 3090. Are there any settings which you choose for everygame within vorpx?

    Thanks

Once you successfully added them in the nVidia control panel, they should become available in the game options as selectable resolution.

While for some games vorpX can handle setting the res automatically via an option the in vorpX menu, the F1 games are not among them. So you’ll have to do that manually in the game’s video options.

With a 3090 your PC is well equipped for decent performance and resolution in F1 2020. I have a 3080 here in my main dev machine and at 2560×1440 was able to get almost steady 90fps with medium graphics details in F1 2020 using Geometry 3D. Looked and felt great.
