Stuck in SteamVR Cinema Mode

Hi,

I’m having trouble with vorpX and a HTC vive.

I’ve gotten the SteamVR part working (can see the background with mountains, etc. But when I launch vorpx, then a game – it displays on the headset as a big cinema screen with the “SteamVR mountains” in the background. None of the vorpx keys work so I don’t think vorpx is being launched at all. Think I’m still in SteamVR somehow.

I also get the can’t hook in screen. None of the various options on that screen works.

Behaves the exact same way with several games. Haven’t launched succesfully at all yet. Suggestions?

Problem fixed. Leaving this here in case it’s useful to someone someday.

The problem was the Viveport software. It has a background watcher service that must have been interfering with VorpX. After uninstall, all is working fine!
