If they would have told me in 1996 i was going to play the settlers 2 in 3D VR one day, i would not have known what they were talking about.

Die Siedler 2: Die Nexte Generation / The Settlers 2: Next Generation (G3D)

This game looks so damn sweet in 3D ! VorpX beats 3D Vision clearly here.
Best experience in Cinema Mode 16:9.
-Just one snag, roads are rendered slightly at wrong depth. The great 3D let you probably overlook this though.

    – get the profile from the cloud

The Settlers 2: NG (2006) is an official 3D remake of the settlers 2 for the 10th anniversary of “The Settlers”.

    UPDATE for VorpX 19.1.1

The above profile did not work anymore with the newest VorpX, there is a new (G3D) profile with fixed shaders in the cloud now.

    – fixed shaders
    – optimized for cinema modes

Yes, it works with the 10th anniversary edition from GOG.
I found RJK’s settings pretty weird though, very flat 3D on normal zoom level.

I have not tested the profile with the GOG version.

Please note, there are two different profiles for the game on the cloud. One of them is 2D only. If the G3D profile does not work with the GOG game, you may try out some other of my settlers profiles.
