Hi. Does the official Titanfall 2 profile still work with the newest Version (version v2.0.11.0)?
I got Titanfall 2 on steam sale. Wanna give it a try, as some Youtubers recommend it. After launching the game window opens and closes immediately. No VorpX hooking message windows, no error message. I tried the alternative hooking method as well. No VorpX hooking message windows, no error message. VorpX works(hooks) just fine with other games like FS22 or Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

I forgot to mention, that I disabled the Steam Overlay and the EA/Origin Overlay as well. Steam launch parameters (-dx10 / -dx11 / -dx12) to force another DirectX Version did not work too.
Works perfectly fine here with the EA (Origin) version. Never heard of any Steam-specific issues. Since the game’s last update is a few years old, it’s safe to assume that hasn’t changed.
Hooking issues typically are conflicts with other programs that also hook into games: any sort of GPU/CPU utility, various messengers, game recording apps. etc. try to disable *everything* you may have running in the background. The trouble shooting post on top of this sub forum has more detailed information.
BTW: the game is DX11 only. Adding a -dxXX launch option in Steam does nothing.
There is no issue with the profile. I checked it when this post came up last month. Please check my reply above for what you can do.
Titanfall 2 is also now crashing immediately for me too when trying to run it with vorpx. Runs fine without vorpx. Something changed.
The game was incidentally retested fefore the last public release. Works fine.
Maybe something has changed on your machine since you tried it last time that now gets in the way. Look espacially for the usual: overlays, GPU tools, chat apps etc. Everything that can hook into games can cause a conflict.
