I just had Windows Defender remove my vorpxcontrol.exe from my computer just before I downloaded the hotfix. After downloading the hotfix I can no longer install vorpx without WD removing the same.
It appears as Trojan:Win32/Fuerboos.A!cl in WD description.
Just added the folder exception C:\Program Files (x86)\Animation Labs\vorpX\ to windows defender. Installation is fine now. Though it would be nice not to have to add an exception…in case an actual Trojan picks that folder.
Judging from prior releases the issue will probably be gone in a few days. Until then exluding the vorpX program folder from scanning is the right thing to do.
