For updating vorpx which way is better? either automatic update or by uninstalling the old version??
Uninstalling is not necessary/recommended at all when you update, you might lose some settings that way.
If you want to update manually, just run the web installer again without uninstalling. The auto-update does basically the same thing.
I tried the automatic update but it says update file is a virus and deleted the automatic update file..
That is a false positive.
Please disable your virus scanner and try again.
If you use anything else than Windows Defender, which automatically comes with Windows 10, I would highly recommended to remove that scanner and use Windows Defender instead. Windows Defender offers good virus protection without being as invasive/annoying as some other scanners.
