Vive Controllers

I was seeing some internet posts that state Vive controllers could be mapped and used with vorpX in an upcoming release. Has this been done? Say for a Fallout game can the Vive wand be used to move Left/Right/Forward/Reverse? I was thinking of buying vorpX but I can’t really use it if only keyboard / gamepad is the only supported option. I know different games work differently, just wondering in general has this interface been somewhat implemented. Thanks for your time..

Vive controllers can be used either in a freely mappable keyboard/mouse emulation mode or as X-Box gamepad, so almost any game is covered one way or the other. Per default the current key/stick mapping is shown on the rendered controllers ingame, so this is also fairly intuitive to use.
