    I just downloaded it and fired it up…
    i set it in config to run with HTC VIVE
    when i go to run the Vorpx Desktop, it says No headset is detected, please check to see if your headset is connected to your PC

    which it is… i have Steam VR running right now, and i can see the special room. What am i missing?

    I am having issues with my performance on my Vive also, but I was able to get it to recognize mine. Do you have your base stations plugged in and running?

    Yes. in fact, i have been playing Steam VR games on it just fine.

    Might sound stupid, but did you select the HTC Vive in the vorpX config app?

    Also please make sure that the headset is configured for direct mode in SteamVR, vorpX does not work in extended mode.

    Ok, ill check out the direct/extended mode tonight. that gives me something to sink my teeth into. will let you know.
