    Hello,

I just installed VorpX successfully and it freezes whenever I try to open the in game configuration menu. In particular whenever I start the desktop viewer the whole thing crashes and freezes when I press the delete key.

The configuration menu shows up but the mouse disappears and then the FOV collapses to a very small conical circle (clipping the entire scene like a vignette) and then an hourglass appears in the bottom right of my field of vision and the app hangs.

I am not running any other software at this time other than the oculus home app.

Please let me know what can be done.

    Thank you

    Sorin

This sounds extremely weird, never heard of something like this before. Does the same thing happen with any game or just with the desktop viewer?

Please open the config app directly after the issue occurs and create a trouble shoot data archive. Send this together with an issue description to support |at| vorpx com. Can’t promise anything since the issue is totally unheard of, but maybe the log file shows something useful.

This seems to be the relevant part of my log file, is it a driver issue/dX11 issue?

I updated my nvidia drivers to the latest version and now the virtual desktop doesn’t crash as soon as I open the config menu, however it crashes after switching the background setting from lounge to ambient etc.. The mouse also still disapears when I start the menu and I need to navigate using the keys

There is also no errors in the log but the crash is the same (freezes + tunnel vision + hour glass in bottom right)
