    Hi, this being my first post…. & it being related to setup issues (sorry bout that)

    so … I’ve got a wee problem. VorpX just won’t start.

    I get error: Sorry, vorpX encoutered a critical error & connot do its magic.
    Try restarting the application. If the problem persists,reinstalling vorpX might help

    So I’ve reinstalled & still it persists…

    any idea on how to get over this problem… sure would like to try this out soonish…

    note: I’m running Win.6 64bit on a macbook pro (bootcamp)

    I am able to use my Oculus Rift no problems in Bootcamp.
    I was able to run the Oculus Config. app that came bundled with VorpX.

    so where to next ??

    EDIT- I stated “Win.6” but in fact I’m running Win.7 4bit

    losds of RAM & a 1tb SSD.

    note: VorpX config crashes when I hit Apply or Apply & Close.

    p.s – regarding forum posts… is it possible to edit my post rather than have to reply to my own post ? I can’t find any edit post button..
    I’m guessing its a WordPress thing

    ok.. I got it running :) I managed to setup VorpX via Parallels 9 ( a Mac windows emulator ) it loaded VorpX then I got out of Parallels since it’s not much chop for gaming & then re-started in BootCamp mode.

    So I have VorpX running on my MacBook awesome :) sorry about all the posts.. I still am not sure how to edit a post ;)

    Anyways.. I loaded Arma3 it runs & VorpX recognises it… cool I just have to tweak a few settings etc… ( I need to read over forum posts etc.. related to Arma3 setup.. if anyone has some good tips please speak up :)

    In BootCamp ( mac windows mode) there’s no way to bring up in game VorpX settings… there’s no DELETE key.

    has anyone got a workaround for this ??

    Perhaps BootCamp related issues deserve a whole new thread…
