    Dear guys,

I just bought VOrpx and what a surprise about Battleye do not support vorpx…

I contacted them and I got this answer:

Unfortunately we cannot support it right now because it uses an incompatible injection method. We would love to support it, but require assistance from the developer to be able to do so (we had contact with him in the past).

    Your BattlEye Support Team

Any plans from the side of the Vorpx dev team? It is very frustrating… Arma3 without online has no sense at all…

Unfortunately I have the feeling of near 40€ totally wasted. :(

Pretty bold answer that you got from the BattleEye programmer.

What actually happened was that he made BattleEye incompatible with vorpX at some point due to changes to BattleEye that he called “proactive” protection. vorpX worked perfectly with BattleEye until he decided that the way vorpX hooks into games is “not the right way” in his opinion and subsequently blocked programs that hook into games the way that vorpX does. Discussing the matter with him lead nowhere, he did not want to revert BattleEye to the previous state that worked fine with vorpX unfortunately.

Weird… However, IMO is a must to add info like this into the features description. ARMA 3 is an online game, based on BE. If BE doesn’t accept Vorpx, ARMA is not really compatible with Vorpx… Unfortunatelly, a waste of money in Vorpx for me….

It works totally fine in single player mode as well as on all non-BattleEye enabled servers. You can disable BattleEye in the Arma III launcher.

I assume that you’re not an active ARMA player. Almost all “normal” servers are protected with BE. No BE–>No play…
