will my dk2 be rendered useless?

i have had my dk2 for a while and am saving up for a vive or cv1 when these come out fully will i still be able to use my dk2 for a while or not like will vorpX work on games for it like they do now

DK2 works with the new vorpx so it will be fine for a while, Oculus probably will drop support for dk2 sometime in the future but now all rifts except dk1 works fine.

just figure out when they will drop support and have firewall block internet access from oculus app ??
