Under the supported games section it states WoW should work in stereo 3d and it does not. Any idea on when this will work? It looks like you can’t enable the G3D mode which is causing it. I tried portal 2 and it worked w/ G3D set.
It’s misleading and false advertising.
Not every game has Geometry 3D. A subset of the games (~30%) only supports the faster Z-Buffer 3D. If a game supports both methods, you can switch between them (G3D usually being the default), otherwise only the two Z-Buffer modes can be selected.
It won’t let me select G3D and z-buffer doesn’t give a stereoscopic image. I also requested an advanced profile authoring key and haven’t received a response back yet.
I’m also not the only one with this problem. It’s all over google and forums and there are some workarounds at the moment, but they aren’t good from what I hear. Basically quality takes a hit.
