Hmm. It’s not hooking for me, it’s just hanging. You using any particular settings?

I’m case anyone’s interested in the future – I fixed the issue.

The game has two HogwartsLegacy.exe files in separate locations. They both get triggered when the game launches – but Vorpx struggles to install the hook helper for the second one.

I copied the hook helper file across to the alternative location and now the game loads up.

And it works alongside the first person camera mod which makes the game a little more playable in fullVR mode.

    Still no luck.

    Anyone got any ideas?

Hi, thanks for replying. I’ve tried your profiles! Thanks for publishing them!

Sadly I can only connect the Pico 4 via virtual desktop. And I have to use Vorpx in steam VR mode.

I can run HL on medium without too much trouble. My CPU does shoot up to 86% when the shaders are loading though.

It’s great to hear that your profiles are working for you. I’ll give them another try. Would you recommend the beta version of your profile or the original?

I just assumed it was a dx12 issue, but I’ll rummage through my library and find something I can test with. And I’ll recheck my background applications for conflicts. I’m a beginner at this so I guess I just thought that if Vorpx could hook portal 2 it meant there were no global conflicts – but perhaps that’s underestimating the impact of alternative versions of DX.

Tbf, I’m wondering if the issue is that the game is taking too much of the CPU’s power and depriving Vorpx causing the failure.
