Does this issue not apply if you get it through the Epic Games store instead and does anyone know if the EG version hooks/works?
Never mind, it’s working again. I opened up a remote session and clicked on it from the desktop and it started working. Mist have the same sort of issue I had in Fallout 3 where it would freeze on the load screen until I hit alt tab.
And it’s stopped working again. Just a black screen but the controllers are visible. I’ve tried admin mode, alternate hooking and turning off the overlay block option. While it was working I did bump up the resolution and it was fine, but not working after I left and returned to the game. I’ve turned the resolution back to what it was while running the game normally but still get a black screen. I’ve tried resetting prevorpx settings and factory restart as well.
I tried the reboot which unfortunately didn’t fix it but thanks. Is it possible to roll back to an earlier version of Vorpx?
It hooks into Bioshock but the view is completely off. You can only see half the loading screen and then in the game it is quite distorted. If you move forward it travels at like a 45 degree angle and everything sort of stretches out instead of moving smoothly. Like maybe it’s only projecting through one “eye” or something. Hard to describe but it does sort of seem like maybe only half the image is being projected.
To add a little detail… it looks almost as if half the screen is missing or maybe that it’s only projecting to one eye. The movement is off too. When I press forward on the touch joystick it moves diagonally. I’ve tried reinstalling VorpX and bioshock. Fallout 3 is fine and New Vegas is now working.
Was able to get a DirectVR scan by moving somewhere else in the room after several attempts and then at least rotate with right thumb stick but still couldn’t look around and then it crashed. Tried this a couple more times with same result. Someone somewhere must have gotten this thing working st some point right?
Update: It wasn’t freezing after all, just needed to hit alt tab… but inside the game I can’t turn my head. View is fixed on what’s right in front of me. And right thumb stick will not rotate on the touch controller, but the buttons work. Tried a direct VR scan but it keeps failing. Any ideas? I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled both Vorpx and fallout. No mods. Using the Vorpx cloud profile.
