J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantFound the issue! It was fraps running in the background :D
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantHi Ralf, would you be able to have a look at the logs I exported? https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gRk1DspSZbDB-s12LJbTwsjwQnu1erd2/view?usp=sharing
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantWhere is this setting? Is it the “Dont optimize game settings”? This one is not checked, I havent messed up with the configuratios since Ive installed vorpx, should be all default. I am using “generic 3d display” with virtual desktop, could it be the problem?
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantI want to play in G3D, so any DX12 profiles do not work for me. I have tried both versions of the game: the standard edition and the Enhanced Edition, which only supports DX12. In both cases I get the same issue: vorpX starts hooking, the “loading vorpX” message appears, then a black game window briefly opens and closes and nothing else happens. As I said, I’m not interested in DX12 Z3D at all, I just can’t stand it and want to play the standard in G3D.
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantChanged to dx11 in the config, but didnt help. This game doest work, anybody would test to help verify?
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantIve installed the standard version (not the enhanced edition). It doesnt work, any changes I should do to settings somewhere?
Use the regular Metro Exodus, not the Reamster/extended or whatever it was called. Still works fine, just checked it not too long ago.
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantBoth standard version and enhanced edition dont work
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantHi, I would really like to play **Metro Exodus** using the G3D DX11 profile, but it’s not working. I’ve tried reinstalling it, but that didn’t help. Can someone please assist?
This is a great title, and since it’s listed as working with the default G3D profile, it would be nice to get it running properly.
I am using a generic 3D display config, and I tested it with another game, Fallout: New Vegas, which worked fine. BTW Metro Exodus Enhanced Edition has the same problem.
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantIf there’s a way to troubleshoot, please let me know here. Pointing to extensive documentation is not something I’d like to do before playing a game. Vorpx is software, so I should be able to plug it in as easily as possible.
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantHi i cannot get the far cry primal to work, no error messages
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantjust fixed it changing the output to sbs, tks
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipant@ Ralf,
When will G3D be fixed? This game seems to be one of the best releases lately, it deserves a G3D profile as it is DX11.
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantOk I did that but the G3D looks like the Z3D, it doesn’t seem to be G3D, I can see halos on the cut scenes and the 3D effect in the cut scenes looks bad, yeah it needs to be fixed to be playable in 3D, it is just not worth at the moment on both z3d and g3d, the game is full of cut scenes and dialog, the subtitles looks terrible and the 3d effect on the cutscenes are bad too, definitely not a good example of a 3d game.
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantI am trying to enable G3D but it doesn’t work, the screen continuous in 2D. Is there a resolution or something that we must change? The Z3D looks terrible, the dialog sections looks like a bad 3D movie conversion, it would look great in G3D and this is a DX11 game, should work just fine!
J0hnnieW4lkerParticipantIs this game any good with Vorpx?
