Though I don’t have the file that causes the alert. It was deleted by Windows Defender and then I updated using the web installer so no alerts anymore..

Yes, the web installer trick is working.
I was just wondering why vorpx tries to download something that windows identifies as a dangerous trojan.
I use Windows Defender and it still flags vorpx when it tries to update to the latest version.

VRDesktop+Quest+vorpX works great for me without any special setup, out-of-the-box.
It works for me out of the box.
Just run Virtual Desktop and run SteamVR from there.
Start Vorpx.
Run the game.
It should come up on your Oculus Quest
I tried ALVR but controller mapping is messed up.
