Already tried that, get a message that it can’t find the executable.
By the way have you got VR keys working now? – I sincerely hope so.

Is already on the list. In the meantime you can try to rename the main .exe (dxhrdc.exe) to dxhr.exe. Not sure whether everything works correctly this way, but there is a good chance it will.

HI Ralf, could you please make sure that vorpX recognizes Deus Ex Human Revolution Director’s Cut which it doesn’t at the moment – thanks.

Hi there I was trying to use the vorpx with Black Mesa Source and Deus Ex Human Revolution ( STEAM )

and I was not able to play at all. It start black and the game freeze. but Deus Ex just Freeze about 2 seconds after the launch. I don’t know what to do now.

I only have games from Steam.

I first tried to make the desktop shortcut and it didn’t work.
Then I tried to re-install the game and it didn’t work too.
I disabled my Antivirus software and it didn’t work.

I am not using any kind of Trainer or Hacks.
I am not using any kind of recording Software or plugin such as Google Hangout.

    Please I need help!

here is my System Spec just in case

    Windows 8 Premium x64
    Intel i5-3330 3.00GHz
    Geforce GTX 650 ti
    8GB DDR3

    Additional information
All my games on Steam are on my second Partition of my Hard Drive (D:). But Vorpx is on my First Partition(C:). I don’t know if it does anything.

I can not move my games to C: because it is lacking space.

I’ll call it the “Hector Salamanca Bug”.

    Well played! ;)

    >> which the other drivers don’t have and is ideal for games like Deus Ex
    >> Human Revolution which uses a lot more keys

That’s exactly what it is meant for :)

You can enter your own descriptions, of course. Don’t know what the bug is yet, but most likely it’s something incredibly stupid. Happens sometimes…

Ok thanks, will input of a description for that key be possible (I wonder how that will work). I am using a Razer Hydra and I think this is a very important feature of VorpX which the other drivers don’t have and is ideal for games like Deus Ex Human Revolution which uses a lot more keys than I can program on the Hydra – hope that the functionality will be working soon.

@ tonka : current mousewheel handling does indeed not work for a few games. Might not be easily solvable, but will be looked into.

You can also set the image zoom in the menu, but that’s a bit cumbersome of course in cases where you want to zoom in and out more often.

I believe that somewhere (either in the online help or in the troubleshooting thread)m that Ralf mentions you may need to reassign the mouse wheel or middle mouse button if the game in question uses these keys.

Hi Ralf, Zoom does not seem to work in this game, probably the game is filtering mouse-wheel input. Can you do anything about this?

    Hi Trust,

If you don’t mind, please post further support questions in the general forum. This one was meant for tips and tricks and such. Thanks.

    To answer your question:

The guns are indeed 2D, that’s nothing that vorpX can do anything about, unfortunately.

The ‘Ding’-issue happens here too in DX9, DX11 works, but has only Z-Buffer 3D yet. Must have been introduced lately. Funny bug, I’ll call it the “Hector Salamanca Bug”. Not sure what might cause it, but it will be investigated.

BTW, I just tested this… In DX11, “Normal” rendering, the game works as I would expect, but the guns aren’t rendered quite right. it’s like they’re made of several layers of sprites at different depths.

Hello! I have some interesting issues with Deus Ex.

Issue: While I play, the keyboard doesn’t “lock” to the game. Every time I press a key… w,a,s,d, etc… my system dings. It’s like it’s sending input to the OS, and the OS knows it can’t accept the input, so it plays that warning ding to alert me.

The game plays under the following config:
    DX9, Geometry
Use System Settings for VorpX Screen settings.
    Primary Monitor, 1920×1080
    Duplicate screen for Rift.

Deus Ex runs at either 1280×800, or 1920×1080.

Additional issues… the guns are rendered in 2D, and at a different “plane of focus” than the game scene, if that makes sense. Basically aiming with the gun doesn’t work, because if I’m focusing on the target I see 2 gun sights in the foreground. If I’m focusing on the gun, I see 2 targets in the background.

Since there aren’t any other complaints of this kind so far…

Well, you know that’s just not true. You replied to my email only an hour ago when I said I couldn’t get anything to work either. Some crash, some don’t activate the driver, only Deus Ex HR started to but it is a mess. My specs are comparable – i5, gtx660ti, win7
