Any way to play vr games with vorpx with only the 3d elements?

E.g I like no man’s sky but it’s pretty demanding on my rig. I’m not interested in vr interaction, merely the player or ship view in 3d is plenty. I actually play without the movement controllers unless the game forces me. I feel like 3d is much less demanding than vr since your view is fixed to the movement/look sticks?

I don´t know if I understood your question correctly but you aren´t forced to use vr controllers with vorpx, infact I never have used them and you really can use them only with gestures with vorpx.
