Hey, it’s likely this has been asked before but I think it deserves an update: what are some of the best games to play in Vorpx? I mean the ones that look the best, control the best, and overall just play really well in Vorpx, in your experience?

    Thanks!

First person games with G3D support. Everything else is a matter of taste. The xbox controller support is perfect in the most profiles, but if you are searching for games with full motion controller support, you have to wait for the next vorpx release.

What are some of your favorites that you’ve found work really well with Vorpx?

The last 3 I’ve played in VorpX have been awesome. I prefer third-person games in VorpX Immersive Mode.

    Batman Arkham Knight
    Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order
    Resident Evil 2

I’m going to give Deus Ex: Mankind Divided a try in VR. I’ve had terrible experiences with Cyberpunk so far and prefer using that “other” VR mod to play it, though it seems a game best suited for 2D for now.

    3D-wise i’d recommend Kingdoms of Amalur RE-Reckoning.
Level up magic to the max and throw meteorites at your enemies.
This will kick your VR experience into infinity.Promised :-)

For me, its *The Witcher 3* and *Jedi: Fallen Order*, played in Immersive Screen mode.

Far Cry 6 is by far one of the best Immersive mode/Cinema mode games I’ve seen so far.
I recommend a 4:3 window and a dark cinema room. Somehow I find a dark room less immersion breaking than a black or changing background.
If you have a good card and can set video settings to max the graphics are amazing with high fps and superb depth even in Z3D. I have only tried the profile made by auryza, but I can tell you it works great. Sadly, full VR is not a good choice unless Ralph decides to make a Vorpx profile that moves the UI elements into the view area. He really should because this game really makes Vorpx shine. But the game has been out long enough that it’s likely off his radar.

IMO, best for immersion is ambient background, because the edges of the screen start to blur in your peripheral vision and you almost stop noticing them.

Dishonored is one of the better VR experiences you can have. Feels almost like a native game, if you have a good GPU you can run it at max settings with high resolution and 90FPS.

A mod where you must eliminate everyone else in the game. :)
Nah, just kidding. Ego perspective = 1st person.
