Hi! I play FH4, FH5, and FM(2023) using the FH5 profile. Yesterday I tried using the FH6 profile, and unfortunately the depth buffer broke.

Am I correct in understanding that I need to update my version of VorpX in order to see new profiles for newer games, if they exist?

Maybe there is already an FH6 profile available that works at least on the same level as FH5.

I will check it out and see if i can get it to work, no promises.

I added a profile for the game. You should receive a profile database update next time you launch vorpX. If not, you can grab the profile manually on the cloud profile page of the config app.

Steam should just work, GamePass requires an additional step:

The automatic hook helper installation fails currently for the GamePass version. Will be addressed in the next regular vorpX update, until then please manually copy the dxgi.dll file from the link below to [Your Forza Horizon 6 Folder]\Content

    https://www.vorpx.com/share/7743-2761/dxgi2510.zip

the password for the ZIP file is ‘vorpx’ (without quotes).

Can you tell please me if the game works with DLSS or if the upscaler breaks the graphics? I can only play FM with DLSS.

DLSS doesn´t seem to affect graphics (in a negative way) However I have to test how to get the smoothest experience since I have come across some stuttering and tracking issues. One thread in steam forums suggested that dlss is the reason for stuttering?

This game surprised me since I have never purchased Forza title before and usually play more realistic titles. But the driving physics are good enough for not to be boring and the map seems to be great. Wheel and pedals etc. were pain to get working and still need do some tinkering. Its like they spend 100 million to create the world and 50$ for the peripheral support. Motion support works out of the box, if only they added native VR support but thankfully vorpx works decently since I would haven´t bought this if there was no way to play in VR.

Testing VorpX profile for Forza 6. Using Immersive screen that it defaults to, I notice objects mid-distance are tore/misaligned. For example the top of box will be offset a bit to the left of the bottom. I also tested turning off 3D for flatscreen. And the resolution appears lower/grainy compared to just using Desktop view of Virtual Desktop.
Suggestions to improve either 3D or 2D?

Disregard previous post. I believe restarting game/Vorpx/or PC resolved both issues.
I believe changing resolution or some other video settings in Forza caused issues with rendering.

How is fps for you guys? I find it that fps hovers just below the target if I set my hmd to 90, I get roughly 87-89 frames and if I set to 72hz mode I get slightly less. I tried messing around with bunch of settings but never getting flat 90.

When I first tried running the profile, the game was running at almost ultra settings in 5K resolution with DLSS set to Performance mode. Now I can’t even get 30 FPS in 1440p, and I have no idea what’s causing it lol.

For me it seems Pimax Xr seemed to cause cpu timing issue(?), when I switched to steam vr I get solid 90fps, at least from the brief testing I did. I will switch to using lighthouse based headset soon anyway, these microstutters are annoying as frack.

Also I needed to change the headset sync mode in vorpx to “favor fps” or otherwise fps might drop from 90fps to around 62.
