Had Nvidia Card – got AMD Now – Custom Resolutions keep getting denied

Hey everyone,

I was on a geforce 780 and just upgraded to a AMD 5600XT and im trying to create Vorpx custom resolutions, which Nvidia control panel didnt ‘care’ about the resolution, i could put whatever i wanted it – AMD’s custom resolution only lets me do up to my displays resolution, 1080p.

Is there a workaround for this? Thanks for any help!

The AMD control panel still doesn’t allow arbitrary custom resolutions higher than your monitor res unfortunately.

You could try AMD‘s downsampling. No custom aspect ratios when using that and more complicated to handle than nVidia, but better than nothing.
