Did you try running Windowed-fullscreen at all? It was my impression that that option was “smart” enough to set itself to your monitor’s stock resolution. Or does it run at 1280×1024 and just stretch out?

Keep in mind for res setting two files seem to have effect:
    XUserOptions.ini
    ResolutionX
    ResolutionY
    XEngine.ini
    ResX
    ResY

(VorpX could not detect SteamVR ou quelque chose de semblable) En as tu vu une?

In an effort to help convince Ralph to make this feature optional – heck even to allow us to put a logo of our own, I too have begun applying my own version of a VorpX indication in my videos. I’ve recently produced one video with the 2D mirror which contains the watermark, and had to modify my title generating app to remove the VorpX logo on my end, because otherwise I had two VorpX watermarks in the shot.

    2D: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TLQxFVD3KII
    3D (Raw VR): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ev3IbPgKxz8
    3D (HSBS): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h-RTRjI0tD0

As for VorpX cross promotion, please feel free to reach out to us via email to organize something more efficient. A monthly game giveaway based on a VorpX YouTube video contest would probably yield a lot more immediate attention to the product than an enforced watermark.

    Hope this gets resolved.

Agreed, watermark should definitely be optional. Most of us who produce any YouTube videos either include the logo or mention VorpX to some extent if we’re using it. In my case I even spend hours writing up VorpX tutorials for the games I demonstrate.

I’m a bit lost as to why we’re being imposed a watermark.

The problem at raffle square isn’t a crash per-se; the UI fails to display, and the keys fail to respond, you’re basically stuck staring at the stage with the music going. I got past that part by reloading the game w/o activating DirectVR, then once the first few enemies were taken care of I reenabled it.

The problem with Bioshock Infinite isn’t cutscene related as much as it is “eventual crash” related. I had a savegame set right after the raffle square scene, where you first get the possession upgrade. The game systematically crashes around the first turret that sits right behind the possession upgrade machine. The time it runs for varies a bit but the crashes are similar. Sometimes I make it a bit past the turret, sometimes I barely walk 3 seconds after closing the possession upgrade video, and kaboom.

Tested with Oculus & VIVE, same results on both.

Here’s an interesting workaround for the problem:
After enabling the mirror window at whichever size you want, do OK & SAVE in VorpX. This is assuming you’re in Windowed mode (not full windowed)

This trick will hide the contents of your mirror window as we will drag it off screen, but any recording software running will be able to record.

    1) Start your capture.
    2) Drag the game’s window (Not the mirror window; not yet) down about halfway on your screen.
    3) Now we can click on the title bar of the mirror window, and drag it as low as we can, with the title bar matching up with the window taskbar (or lower)
    4) Now drag the main game’s window back all the way up and line it up with your screen.
    5) Click in the middle of the game’s window. You should be good to go.

While you play, the mirror window we mostly dragged off screen is letting your capture software get the image. Meanwhile your mouse is back. I didn’t test with with Borderlands 2, but the trick worked for Randy Pitchfork’s Colon Marines.

Yup, with most games I have to start my video capture, then move the mirror window out of view in order to be able to click on the game window and regain control of my in-game mouse (buttons).

The major problem here is that often, the mirror window refuses to be moved. This completely silences the ability to click mouse buttons. This is the case with Borderlands 2, Alien Colonial Marines (hey I wanted to have a laugh) and some others I forget of right now.

For those who like to stream/record the full Oculus view, it would be a good fix to have.
